A PINCH OF THIS AND A HANDFUL OF THAT ILLUSTRATED ZINE

this zine was a part of the March 2026 dispatch of the Paper Trails Art Mail Club.
 
This scene captures a particular memory. I have of my grandmother in her home kitchen. It is inspired by the way she and many other grandparents would store heirloom recipes on small pieces of paper tucked away in little tin boxes, but most of the recipe contains was already in their heads. They did not need measuring spoons or containers to know what they were cooking, but it would somehow always turn out. Just perfect using loving, pinches and handfuls.
